Untitled

I wonder what it's like to live inside that room.
Shagpile carpet, detested furniture,
and wallpaper that hangs well beyond it's time.
Similtanious bouts of tears and laughter,
Are a sight so often seen.
For this lost one,
It's a map of where she's been.

HOLE

Taking refuge down a lonely hole,
Darkness is my only companion.
No one cares enough to join me,
But the rays of light that keep creeping in.
Soon, they too shall leave...

Stained Glass Window 12/02/2000

I live on the other side of the window
Looking in on bliss. "their" bliss.
I scream as loud as I can.
No one hears me.
If I am heard,
My words are muffled and misunderstood.
My breath remains a stain on the glass,
My fingerprints leave a tarnished blur.
A reminder of a wasted effort.
Why try again?
The glass is only sure to be stained again soon enough.
Helpless and frustrated I stare.
I am as transparent as the glass,
And as despised as the stains painted upon it.

OMJ

A girl lives in pain...
not sure she's as strong
as she used to be...

Her shoulders are slumped,
from years of carrying the
weight of the world
upon them...

Her eyes scream, and
taste like salt when
I want to kiss the hurt
away...

If only a life could be saved
by a hug...
If only self worth could be
breathed back to life...
if only she didnt cry alone...
